Review: Blazing Haley - Mas Chingon
Band: Blazing Haley
Album: Blazing Haley
Genre: Psychobilly
Review done by: Johnny Graves

I bring to thee! the second album from Santa Monica California's pride and joy the Blazing Haley. Hell when i found out the name of the album, "Mas Chingon" that scored points with me automatically. Alright now for the review. The opening track "Time to Burn (Straight to Hell)" shows the musical abilities and showcase their various influences (Punk, Psychobilly, Rockabilly), one of their better songs that i have heard, oh yeah i might add that its one of my favorites. Tracks 2 and 3 "Never A gain," "A Date with Ivy" are slowdown songs with a rockabilly edge, but they manage to keep their own brand of punkabilly sound. The next track "Another Time and Place" is fast melodic psycho song with punk twist, i like this song alot."Trailer Park Annie" is a song about some chick in a trailer park, at least i think it's about that, i might be wrong, but all in all its still a good uptempo song. Songs like "High Plains Shifter" and "They get Bad Fast" keep the cd going on strong and keep the adrenaline pumping through your veins. To close out the cd they throw in a cover of Black Sabbath's "Black Sabbath" which may i add that they covered it really well. This some of the best writing that i have heard in a really long time. This cd has everything that a person could want.. a bad ass cover, a good clean sound, and the whole is bad ass. I mean what more could somebody want!!!! I wanted to thank Chris from Blazing Haley (www.blazinghaley.com) for the cd. so there you go Chris. THANKS!!!!!!!
