Review: The Reach Around Rodeo Clowns - Self titled
Band: The Reach Around Rodeo Clowns
Album: The Reach Around Rodeo Clowns
Genre: Psychobilly
Review done by: Roy

llist Records 1996.
This cd of The Reach Around Rodeo Clowns really amazed me, one of the first American bands that I listened to, that had more or less a European psychobilly sound. The cd contains 9 original songs. The only song that's not 100% original is "Psychobilly band", which is a rewritten version of a song called rockabilly band. The best things about The Reach Around Rodeo Clowns is that they play good and have a lot of humor, that they show in their lyrics. Songs like "Mexico", "Beaver", and "Road to hell" are good examples of this. "I want to take her down to Mexico, a far place where the heat don't go", is what goes through the mind of the singer when he sees a young girl walking down the streets. Humor and good music, what more could you want?
