Johnny Nightmare has a new drummer: BONE THE BEATER. Handling two major bands was too much for COUNT ELWING, and in agreement with Johnny Nightmare quit the band. No hard feelings, and Butch and Dax wants to say thanx for the time being.
That leaves the sticks for Bone, an experienced drummer who also plays lead guitar in the surf act THE SURFING HENCHMEN. The guy is mental, and learned the whole set in a week. So the crew is ready for this years tour. Welcome on board.
The tour will concentrate on a few Danish shows, and the rest in Germany. For 2009 more dates will be added later. October/december and maybe January will be held free for finishing Johnny Nightmares second album to be released in spring 2009.

Last week on the 20th of June, Stephan Braus, the drummer of german Psychobilly band, The Scum Rats, passed away from his cancer.
All of you who met Stephan when he was the Scum Rats drummer, will remember what a nice guy and great musician he was. Stephan also played drums for the german bands Nervous Breakdown, The Daltons and The Scamps.

In 2008 famous Russian publishing house "Amphora" published a book entitled "Russian Psychoattack". It is written by Kirill Ermichev leader of Scary B.O.O.M. Russian band, playing experimental music with psychobilly roots. "Russian Psychoattack" is a story of Russian psychobilly boom which took place in very hard times of political and social times in Russia (1987-2000). On the other hand Russian 90s were the time of first underground rock clubs, independent rock bands, and “psychodelic revolution”.
Book includes a lot of rare photographs, flyers and posters. After the main story you can read the interviews made by Kirill for Rockmusic.ru Monthly with a lot of famous musicians and bands – Tony Sheridan, Reverend Horton Heat, The Krewmen, Quakes, Stringbeans, Oskar Knucklebone, Horrorpops…
Soon the first chapters of the book will be published in Japanese “Rockabilly magazine”.
