The Skrunch, named after a "Batman-sound", started in 1987 in Holland as a rocka/psychobilly band with no ambitions at all and they stayed that way till split up in 1991. At that time there were lots of psychobilly bands in Holland with which they shared the stage like Batmobile, The Rockats, Ratmen and it wasn't difficult to find a place to play, so they played on different festivals in Holland, Belgium, Germany and even once in the USA with all the regular bands of that era. Here I name a few (to impresse!): Demented are Go, Highliners, Guana Batz, Krewmen, Batmobile, Phantom Rockers, Klingonz, Torment, Skitzo, Mad Sin, Frantic Flintstones etc....
