Sin Alley was formed in 1992 in Antwerp, Belgium. Thanx to the great looks and even better vocals of lead singer Martine, they quickly became the new revelation in the Rockabilly scene. Their style? As one critic once put it: "Just put Wanda Jackson and Rev. Horton Heat in a blender, and this is what you get. It's raw, it's loud, it's fast, it's Sin Alley."
They made one album for the Dutch Count Orlok label, "Headin' for Vegas", and two vinyl (remember vinyl!?) EP's, before shattering into different bands like Los Fabulous Frankies, Trigger Finger and AngeliCo.
But now they're back! After almost 10 years they decided to do a reunion concert in Antwerp early this year. The show was highly appreciated by both audience and band, which led to the fact Sin Alley is doing more than only one reunion gig. They're not planning on starting again; all of them are too busy with their own projects, so if you want to see them, you better hurry! This could end again anytime!! |
