BIO

The Robotix is one of Polish hottest and upcoming bands. They formed during the summer of 2002 (in Pultusk near Warsaw). The members have all been involved in different bands before that. One of these was SKARPETA (skabilly). The Robotix plays classic-psychobilly with good mixture of slow and fast, rocking and smashing inputs, fast slapping duble-bass, freezing guitar-work and mostly Polish lyrics (about horror-movies, monsters, parties, drunk devil, nasty girls and vampires). Robotix can be described as something between Gorilla and Scallywags. The Robotix are inspired by science-fiction and horror films. Their debut album "Kosmiczna Odyseja Helvisa" has been released on Amigos M.D.C. in January 2003. After the big success of the Polish CD-version, German label "Black Sky Records" decided to realese a special limited LP-version with a different sleeve-design (July 2003). Their second album "Wrakobill" will be released soon (Winter 2004).
