BIO

Pretty Grim was formed in 1998 in Brecon in Wales as a 3-piece Rockabilly/Psychobilly band by Paul Nevin and Nigel, Nigel left and the band carried on going. The live band has always been outlandish with high energy and good tunes, over the years they have gone through many line up changes and been very experimental within a Psychobilly and Punk genre. The band have gone through Guitarists, Drummers, Bass Guitars and stand up, saxophone players, Fire breathers, Dancers and Strippers but have finally settled on a 3piece line up. Currently recording for Western Star Records and being licensed to Cleopatra Records and Cherry Red including 2 music videos for Cherry Red. The sound of Pretty Grim today is more Punk with a Psychobilly edge and has become a lot more of a contemporary band in recent years while Nevin got ordained as a reverend, starting his own church of Psychobilly Jedi and doing one man shows of affirmation of love and absolution of sin ceremonies while also performing in the one hit wonder band Doctor and the Medics.
