Best described as 'Maximum Rockabilly' - 69Beavershot play revved-up guitar-led Power-Rockabilly taken to the extreme. After a chance meeting in a tattoo studio, the three guys discovered they share similar tastes - Rockabilly, girls, cars and tattoos (what else is there?...) and these themes are prominent throughout the songs on their debut album and their second album to be released in 2005. 69Beavershot are tight and powerful, with musicianship that nods in the direction of Batmobile, Reverend Horton Heat and Brian Setzer. Combine this with superb powerful production, and you have CD releases and live gigs which are set to help 69Beavershot really make their mark.
The year 2005 is going to be a busy year for the boys. First up is the release of their new album "Maximum Rockabilly" on Raucous records (raucd167).
Followed by a side project of Mars and Marc who collaborated with Jeroen Haamers (singer and guitarplayer of Batmobile) on an Elvis project called "Triple Dynamite" and the release of their CD is expected in the summer of 2005.
Last but not least 69BEAVERSHOT made LIVE DVD recordings on the 8th of May 2005. DVD due for release winter 2005.
