This is an album I stumbled across while poking around the interwebs while looking for something else entirely. I had never even heard of them before. Other than the fact that they hail from Finland, still don't know much about them. But the album caught my eye and I decided to give them a go.

Here is the track listing:

Night Nurse - Night Nurse

1 - Where Shadows Go
2 - Obsession
3 - Mean Old Low Down Dirty Bastard
4 - Cursed
5 - Deep Sleep
6 - Lethal Romance
7 - Beauty Box
8 - Mad Man Blows the Fuse
9 - You Took Poison
10 - Teenage Kaliman
11 - Nude Girls Live Shows Take Away Babes
12 - So Long Gone

First of all, I really like the production of this album, it sounds great. There is a subtle variety of songs, so no two songs sound alike. The album has a nice flow to it. The songs are not super fast, but neither are they lagging, the album maintains a nice tempo from start to finish. I enjoy the entire album. There isn't a single song on here I find myself skipping when I listen to the album, but as with any album there are some stand-outs. The tracks I really enjoy are:

Where Shadows Go
Cursed
Lethal Romance
You Took Poison
Teenage Kaliman (which is a really fun instrumental)
So Long Gone.

The album starts off strong and ends strong without getting lost or taking any dull detours along the way. I really enjoy this album. They definitely have a bit of their own sound without stretching things too far outside the box. If you like Demented Are Go and The Wolfgangs, I would guess that you would probably dig these guys, though they sound different than either band.
On a rating out of ten, I'd give this album an 8.5. It's a pretty fun rocking album and all these tracks play well with others in a shuffle. I would definitely recommend buying this one for anyone interested in something new to listen to.

Have wondered about this band, have heard varying reviews. Will probably have to check out for myself.
