No. 2 is the new full length from Canadian rockabilly/country duo Hellbound Hepcats.
The CD is a mixture of 1950s rock and roll, country and rockabilly. If Elvis, Chuck Berry, Johnny Cash and Brian Setzer had a bastard lovechild, the Hellbound Hepcats would be that child. But unlike many modern acts copying the styles of those musicians, the Hellbound Hepcats seem to pick up where they left off and don't just imitate it, they do it right.
The first song "Play With Fire" sets the tone for the next 10 tracks. Other notables include "Jessie B.", "Like Lightning" and "Rockabilly Queen". Overall the album is raw, warm, humble and catchy. It even has a warm analog tone, so many digital "masterpieces" are missing these days.
