As much as I agree, I know a good number of people who got started towards psychobilly by The Cramps.
For me, first psychobilly related album I think was Batmobile - Buried Alive |

Its not a pure psychobilly album but the album still includes Domino, the way I walk, human fly, and goo goo muck which have a heavy psychobilly influence in that cramps-minimalist style |

the first PSYCHOBILLY album I got was Wrecking Crew, and it's still far and away my favourite album of all time.
first album I bought was the first Stray Cats one. not psychobilly, but it opened the door for sure. |

| 1st was 'Wreckin' Crew' ....already had stuff by the Stray Cats etc,etc...it was swiftly followed by 'In Heaven' & The Cramps 'Off the bone'.... |
