Hi,
I'm Thereze from Norway, where we only have one psychobilly band (called The Dead Beat, they're not signed or anything, but you can find them on Myspace if you want to find out how the only psycho-band in Norway sounds like). There is a small rockabilly scene here, and a non-excisting psycho-scene, but that's ok...because then I have an excuse to travel and meet fun, interesting, completily insane people from all over that I usually can't find anywhere else.
I like music that makes my brain (the little I have left anyway) go ape. "New" stuff (Koffin Kats, Arkhams, Go Getters, Krewmen, Fenech, Quakes, Nekromantix, Goddamn Gallows) Old Suff (Cochran, Gene, Elvis, Luman, etc) Hard stuff (Cumshots, El Caco, Camaros etc)...and then there is The Cramps, who I just love.
That's about it I guess...oh and I also like to use the word "twat" alot, but I always mean it in the best of terms!

Not in the Norwegian corner I tell you. It's weird actually...even Sweden and Finland has managed to get a scene, but in Norway The Quakes once (I highly doubt they'll ever come again) played for like 20 paying people...and the only reason they bothered to come was cause they didn't have anything better to do....ignorants hehe! |

Thank you and yes; truly sad indeed, but on the other hand what a life! I only got to see them once a few years back, but it was one of them concerts that still brings a smile to my face. And Poison Ivy is still, hands down, the coolest chick I have ever seen on stage! |
