last year was a great year of new sounds for me.
we had The Meteors's 'Hymns For The Hellbound', The Hangmens' 'Cacklefest', The Rocketz 'Rise Of The Undead' Spellbounds' 'Eleven Deadly Sins' and of coure that's when I found Blue Demons' 'Shot To Ruin'. there have been more but these were the standouts for me.
also, there have been some really truly dire people come on this forum with ''hey, check out my band'' with sounds I wish I hadn't heard. so, when Brutus came on promoting his bands latest offering I (cheekily) requested a 'try before I buy ' deal...and he took me up on it! Shocked

it came today.

already today I've listened to it 3 times. 'Roadkill Cafe' is as strong an album as any i've mentioned at the beginning of this post. A real rockin' treat from start to finish with superb guitar licks, stomping bass and a demonic beat all topped off with Mr Brutus's velvety tones that have just the right hint of malice underlying. 13 original tracks that tear you along at a frantic pace and only leave you wanting more MORE MORE!

At the end of 2008 this album will definately be in the top 5 of anyone who buys it. Fantastic.

so go get it folks..(fans of the much lauded Hi-Dramatic will LOVE this!)

now, a deals a deal fella...where do I send the money!
and thanks for this!

it'd be interesting to know if these guys were influenced by the band.
it's well worth a buy though!

Havenīt heard of Hi-Dramatic before and couldnīt find anything from internet either, except for the small 20 sec clip thatīs right here on Wreckingpit, which by all means sounded interesting including the bio... mp3īs, anyone?

Great review, Boozey!

I will be buying this soon, and i have to admid that's partly because these guys are from Finland. I heard a bit on myspace and did like what I heard, and as I said before: I especially love the accent 'Tampere english' Wink

what's wrong with that? it fucking worked, didn't it? Very Happy
I think everyone should send me their c.ds, and i'll review 'em.
if 5 people buy the album on the strength of the review, then the band wins don't they?
seems fair to me.... Wink
