My favorites:
The Mutant Monkey and the Surfers From Zorch - this record provided me with an ideal soundtrack during a particularly difficult period in my life. Sometimes music is more than just some tunes that you find entertaining or fun, this record was very significant to me, and so, still is.

Doing The Lord's Work

Hymns For The Hellbound

Psycho Down

Looking forward to the new one!

Somehow I never answered this thread?
Tough fucking call. Maybe Stampede or Teenagers From Outer Space?
So many great albums. Might as well just ask me to pick which particular sip of whiskey out of a glass is my favorite.

It's a pretty tough one to come up with one favorite. Considering the sheer amount of music produced over the years, it's pretty amazing. I can only think of one song that I really don't dig (and it's not that I hate it, it just falls short, in my opinion) and that is 'Repo Man'. Can't think of any other band that has produced a larger body of work that has been able to maintain a solid standard of quality, much less continue to raise the bar as the Meteors have.

Then there is all the other stuff ... it would seem Mr. Fenech simply shits rock'n'roll ... and only the best kind at that.

Their first 2 albums:

Not to discredit any of the many releases from P. Paul & his Meteors' lineups since, but man, these 2 albums are fundamental psychobilly from the originators... I put on In Heaven all the time and, being an original print of the first true psycho album, it's definitely my prized vinyl - even if it ain't worth much $$!
