Intro: I am Darla, at the moment I live in Long Beacg California about 40 minutes from Los Angeles. I love the rockabilly/psychobilly lifestyle and live it every day and I couldnt have it any other way. I am a pin up model and a designer; I make clothing and hats inspired by the 1940s and 1950s. I also have my own jewelry line launching this spring. How I got into psychobilly? I have always had a passion for classic cars and when I was 12 I started going out to shows everyweekend and never left the house without my rep lipstick. Ever since then I cant get enough psychobilly music or rockabilly music! I always am looking for new bands to listen to, I love finding old school 1980 psychobilly bands that arent around anymore. My music taste- I love Demented Are Go, The Meantraitors, The Quakes, The Broncats, The Meteors, Polecats, Frenzy, The Sharks, Mad Sin, Barnyard Ballers, Reverend Horton Heat, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Royal Crown Revue, Lee Rocker, Brian Setzer, The Cure, Depeche Mode, Fats Domino, Johnny Clash and I could keep going on forever. But those are my top picks. Some of my general interests: Tight lacing(wearing corsets), playing with my dogs, going to shows, cars shows, hunting for antiques, going on road trips, traveling, hot weather, the beach, sewing, modeling, photography, working on classic cars, reading, drawing, tattoos, getting tattooed, and going hiking. I hope to find: New friends and people who enjoy the same things especially the rockabilly/psychobilly lifestyle. Promoters and anyone else who might need a pin up model for anything. Also photographers and people who own classic cars to collaborate on photoshoots with. I always need new classic cars to model with for my lines. People who live in texas! I am moving to texas this summer, about 30 mins from san antonio. I will not know really anyone so if you live in texas hit me up.
