| Here's a review of dag's satan's rejects album. At my job we do alot of stock work and in the basement most of it is done with unloading stuff .... anyway we have a stereo down there and pretty much tortured that thing from blasting various artist's but it always worked fine even being played at full blast for months. Until one day when I started playing dag's best of record. Of course the only way to play that stuff is loud and over the next week or two with constant playing of Rubber Rock, Rubber Buccanneer, Holy Hack Jack,Surf Ride To Oblivion, Cast Iron Arm, Love Seeps Like A Festering Sore, Be Bop A Lula and all other classic Demented Are Go numbers the speakers began to play at a lower volume , then followed by the sound quality not picking up all the different distortions, and after that it would only play about 5 songs before just playing this muffled bass scratchy static sound and finally that's all you could hear. That's the first time I've ever seen or heard a particually band destroy a radio from their recorded material. I thought it was hilarious. I love Demented Are Go and all their work and style. I think with a combination of super heavy double bass, heavy distorted guitar, loud driving drums and sparks one of a kind voice that sounds like chewbacca gargling hot gravel did that stereo in. In an odd way I think that's a hilarious accomplishment. And I give that record a 10 out of 10. |

That was a fun read...your radio would have blown up regardless based on how you used it..even The Bee Gee's would have had the same affect.

I make it work by not allowing her to listen to music when i'm in the house.
sexist maybe, but it works. |
