I don't think there are chords on a website. There's lyrics and some explanation on the HME on Facebook.

Mostly. Seems most folk prefer to stick to Facebook and the like. I stop by a few times a day still, but I never have anything to say unless I am drinking.

Won't say I've read through all the threads, but I have read through a majority of them, looks to have been pretty lively, but seems to have nose-dived down between 2009 and 2010. But it also appears to have had fluctuations between 2005 and 2008. I've certainly enjoyed reading through the threads, some being damn interesting and entertaining. When it did drop off, it looks to have dropped off quick.

It is kinda hard to have much to say when there isn't much interaction going on, that's for sure. I reckon the heyday of message boards has been done for some years now. I don't use a fb account myself, but I do make the rounds of my favorite bands' accounts to keep up with what they're up to, tour dates and album releases and the like. I'm anxiously awaiting the next Meteor's release.

Yeah, when I started up a site for my local rockabilly community the forums got so few posts that after a couple years I just shut them down. The only sort of forums I ever see get much traffic are tech support forums. Sad, I tend to prefer the forum format but they do seem to be going the way of the rotary phone. I do use one of those too though.

I don't know what that looks like. I haven't seen that show in something like 30 years.

It looks more or less like this:

At times I've felt a bit like a sort of archaeologist sifting through the debris and dregs of a lost civilization. Had formed a working theory that maybe it was because Booberella had quit drinking. I'll go with exhibit-A from here on out.

my theory is that for a time this place was like a proper community, it was easy to forget it was just an internet forum. people became too involved/interested in other peoples lives and as a result started to fall out and bitch at each other so began to drop off the forum. after digging through you'll soon realise that the 'community' (by which I mean the regular posters) was actually pretty small compared to other forums.

That actually does make a lot sense there.
