what's wrong with that? it fucking worked, didn't it?
I think everyone should send me their c.ds, and i'll review 'em.
if 5 people buy the album on the strength of the review, then the band wins don't they?
seems fair to me....
that is how it works in the industry doesent it? reviewers get sent free cd's to review
I want one. I'm sure it was posted..but where do I buy one?
Since we are bunch of unknown birds releasing a first album I bet it´s not the easiest catch in the market with the volume of 500 copies printed.
The label behind the publish says that they are delivering it throughout the world... http://www.junglerecords.fi ...might be a little hard for you to navigate on their site, since it´s only in finnish. I´ll send mail to the guy @ Jungle Records and ask about the proceedure of this kind.
Cheers, Boozey... got the Hi-Dramatic cd´s today. Checking it out...
Commercial announcement: VC-shit (cd´s and t-shirts) are for sale now at http://vultureshop.shop.wosbee.com/PublishedService Delivery worldwide, if you´re using the paypal-thingy. The sc. shop is still under construction... so there´s not pictures of all the possible stuff and the photos that are up might be crappiest commercial shots you´ve seen since the U.S.S.R. fell apart... we´ll get the proper ones someday... maybe...we´re such a sorry bunch of lazy-asses that it might take a moment.
now, how about sending me a t-shirt, and if it's good quality......
...you would review it here and then you´d have it for free
It´s quality stuff... the shirt is Fruit of the Loom and printing is good... at least in the ones with original logo, which I by the way prefer much more. Mine is still like brand new after year and a half of random use.
After listening to 2 Hi-Dramatic albums Nick13 ( ..by the way, I preciated your review much more when you were still using the former name... now I´m troubled ) sent me I must say they are both good albums with some excellent moments. And I must say there is a strange resemblance in a way VC and Hi-D. sound... especially on a slower songs, I think. But since the match is anyway quite far from being total 100% there is a possibility that Hi-Dramatic fans won´t like VC and vice versa... anyway, I´m biased here, so fuck my opinions
Hands down one of my favorite new additions, Vulture Club comes out of Finland with some serious attitude. Somewhere between the style of Nekromantix & old-school Quakes falls this amazing brand of psychobilly. Although you may have to contact the band directly (USA), I strongly encourage you to pick this one up, ASAP. If you like the original psycho sound, (Mad Sin, Meteors, and the like) Roadkill Café is a must have. The first time I put it on, I was hooked. Great rhythm, almost creepy melodies, some kick ass six string, & simply horrific (in a good way) lyrics kept my head bobbing the whole way through. My favorite song on this one would have to be all of them, seriously. Absolutely every song on this release is great. Just push play, y’all.
these fellas stuff is pretty good. it's billy by lord, it's billy.
although i don't really see the hi-dramatic connection (thats an unfairly high benchmark anyway). although, some of the tunes remind me of damage done by worms and gorilla (when theyre not playing metally shite).
