1.- I'm the wolfman
2.- Stranglehold
3.- I hate you
4.- Personal Jesus
5.- Secrets
6.- I'll never love again
7.- All black & hairy
8.- Frozen
9.- Right to death
10.- Moonshine juke-joint
11.- Underworld
12.- Hillbilly stomp.
First off, do you like traditional / old school Psychobilly?, the kinda stuff that was the norm before a lot of bands went metal with an upright.....you do?, then this one's for you.
What you get are 12 well played, well produced (thanks Mr Wilson) tracks of Psychobilly mayhem 9 of which are originals, 2 of the covers are spot on but track 4.....YOU BASTARDS,WHY DID YOU DO THAT TO ME? ...I hate that song!.
My personal faves? - 'Stranglehold' - 'I hate you' - 'Secrets' - 'All black & hairy' - 'Right to death' (complete with Krewmen riffs!) - 'Underworld' in fact apart from that song that can't be mentioned this is a shit hot release .
So,yet another good release from a band that hail from the steel town & who all have the same surname.......Oxley.......2 of whom are Psychobilly veterans (old gits) of many bands & 1 young pup on drums!.
If you get the chance to go see them, do it...or you'll kick yerself for missing out on a good gig & a good laugh.
It's a mixture of styles & influences that WILL get your feet tappin' if you're at home or if you're catching them live & you'll be tempted to go out with your fists a swingin' .
btw...this is the 2nd time I've written this today, just as I was about to press the submit button our bastard ferret launched himself off the sofa & landed on the keyboard ....he's back in his cage now....twat. |

Yep, Billy and Paul played guitar and bass respectively in the Radiacs and do the same in the Hillbillys. Steve, the drummer, is Paul's son |

Gotta agree with you on this - it's a must have!
It's certainly got that 'old skool' vibe - Personal Jesus never made it to my iPod (why is the f00ker so popular).
My fave track is Hillbilly Stomp (it's a shame it's tagged onto a hidden sample at the end )
Seen these live a couple of time and they went down a storm on both occasions, |

Got this album last Fri, when Billy popped by mine, got to say I love it, very "Old Skool" which I love, takes me back to a good time.
So many good tracks, that I could not pick one out.
Anyway get it bought, u will love it!
Lovingly

| I love that you mentioned that they have a sound thats not metal with an upright. I totally get that music changes and grows and can be messed around with, but I really dont like the direction Pyschobilly music is heading in. Im a fan of metal but Im more of a fan of good original psychobilly. I dont like them mixed together. The Epileptic Hillbilliys are an amazing band. |

| I'm pretty sure the radics just finished a tour a few months ago. I'm not sure as to if it was the original members. Clarification? |
