I got this one & 'Dresscode Rock 'n' Roll' last week & have listened to them both a fair bit since & I like them both .
1. G-string
2.Frontal penetration
3.Eastern
4.Remind
5.Soapbox derby
6.Familiar
7.Addiction
8.Negative alcohol night
9.Tennessee Rose
10.356764
11.Monday
12.Danny
13.Victims of Rock 'n' Roll
14.Porn addiction rehab
15.Wicked game.
A damn fine release!, musically & lyrically it's a lot different to 'Dresscode Rock 'n' Roll'.... it's a lot more mature sounding imo, at times reminding me of bands like Francine, Godless Wicked Creeps & even The Living End!.
They even cover Chris Isaak's 'Wicked Game' & do a good job of it too, they have a female guest vocalist on a couple of tracks which works well.
I can't say that I have any firm favourites on this c.d.....because I like the whole thing!, I like the dark humour & cynicism & also the fact that there are no songs about monsters, zombies, vampires, the Devil etc.....it's a straightforward Rockin' ride & if I hadn't had it for nothing I would've bought it.....as you should. |

had this one for a while as I've done the text editing for this one. Good stuff, though not all songs appeal to me, it still gets a regular spin on the cd player. |
