I got this classy release through the post last week & have listened to it at least once a day since, it is imo a very good release Cool .

Thee Flanders - "Spirit of 666" ..... Halb 7 Records.... www.halb7records.de

1 - Killer

2 - Handle with care

3 - 1,000 tage

4 - Braindead

5 - Man's law

6 - Just live

7 - Dinner for one

8 - Evolution by selection

9 - Romantik

10 - The witch

11 - Schlecht

12 - Old daddy longleg

13 - Restless

14 - Mother

15 - Outro.

I'd only ever heard the odd track by them on compilations & to tell the truth had never paid them much attention 'til now, I'll have to get their previous releases now! Laughing , they're a what could be classed as old skool Psychobilly band who have an equal measure of both Psycho & 'billy to their sound, know what I mean?.

The c.d changes style & pace throughout, and at times to my ears at least they sound like Demented are Go....Scum Rats....Damage done by worms....Thee Flatliners....Nekromantix & Evil Devil Cool while still keeping their own sound, the singer is VERY versatile, on some tracks he has that often copied "Sparky growl" on others he proves that he really can sing & has an excellent voice, musically they're very tight & have a definite European sound, I personally think that the Bedlam Crew should approach them & try gettin' them over to Northampton at some point!, they do a couple of German language tracks that I can't understand Embarassed ..... but on the whole I rate it pretty highly..... 8/10.

this nice looking cd dropped on the doormat today and ive listened to it once whilst doing the dishes (a mans work is never done!) and i agree with John in the sense that it really could be several bands on this cd with the style changing on almost each track (not massively but enough for you to notice it...if that makes sense) and the same can be said for the singer,in fact i checked if it was the same gadgie!!! On one listen im liking it but its gonna take a few listens to get a proper feel to it.....the thing is they have about another 4/5 cds released....need to do some serious catch up with these fellas..... Wink
