Unique in every way and untouchable for his commitment to insanity…….. a real teen hero for me, saw them in Edinburgh mid-80’s on the Date with Elvis tour, still presses all my buttons and you can’t help be proud for the guy that no-one's been able to match him, good on ye’ mate, fucking ace….. 
Saw this tribute on the EW website from someone called “Thom”
Looks a bit like one of those inane poems really but at the same time, probably could have been a Lux lyric…….

| have had some time today to think about this sad loss.this guy was a frontman .if ever you wanted to know what a frontman was then this was it.will be a big loss to the scene without doubt.i guess this spells the end of the cramps no lux no band.a true legend will have a couple of beers tonight for him and play the cramps tonight.rip a terrible loss.my condolances to those close to him. |

I was very surprised and sad to hear the news, never got to see em live and now never will 
they're one of the bands that really got me started on psychobilly, its a huge loss |
