you just got a copy of high falutin' and that's all you have to say about it?!

This CD is half a dozen tracks of pure genius. It's like nectar for your ears! Nice to hear a well-produced (imo) cd from such a high-energy band, as it gives you a good chance to actually appreciate what a great voice our Dr has.

Unfortunately I can't be more descriptive since the cd is somewhere in the depths of my car from last time it kept me awake on a long drive home, so I can't listen to it and be more emotive off the cuff.

Get this when it 'comes out' (??), rest assured even if you own their previous stuff, you won't have heard anything like this before. Completely different sound, a lot less gritty but every-bit as shocking! Every bit my absolute favourite band making music today. YES!

And us bastards have chased them out of psychobilly too! for shame!!

Fuuuuckin' hell, how'd you manage to get a moan out of a positive comment ? Rolling Eyes

I never claimed I was a critic. Maybe you can say more when you find it again eh ?

Like I said, it's ace and got me wanting too see them live and well, I just thought I'd share............isn't that the point Confused

I concur with what Tab said... Bloody brilliant. In fact I remember the night Dr. W gave me the CD I listened to it through twice whilst driving Steve home and every time he spoke I just said 'Shut up... I'm listening!'.

And the 7" of spiteful rag will be an essential purchase. You gotta love that Jazz Skinhead Ragtime Kazoo Orchestra.

I'm still a bit narked that they got to 'Who's sorry now?' before us though... Bunch of bastards!

I know... I should wear a bloody chauffeur hat. I'm always running those two about! I really wanted to stay and chat around random shite with you and the doc as well.

And yeah, they do a cracking job of that tune... It's a live favourite of mine. Whenever they're doing that one I'm singing along like a right little teenybopper! Hahaha!

i don't think i've actually listened to it properly apart from trying to shove it out there once. listened to it for the first time in my mates car out in italy and was throughly enjoyed by a scouser, cockney and parisian all at the same time!
will listen at some point considering they're all over our bloody house!
